we first conceived of the idea for Backroads 25 years ago, our goal
has been to constantly improve and perfect each and every guest’s
travel experience. Over 100,000 guests and 7,000 trips later, we are
proud to say that no other adventure or active travel company has
had more experience conducting successful, enriching travel programs.

experience, we guarantee the quality of your active vacation. If your
Backroads trip does not deliver the experience we promised, we pledge
to address your concerns and work with you to remedy the situation.
When you reserve a Backroads vacation, we enter into a partnership.
Our job is to help you select and prepare for your trip and to create
a carefree adventure that equals or exceeds what our literature and
staff promise. Your responsibility is to select a trip that suits
your abilities and interests, acquaint yourself with our policies,
be prepared with the recommended gear, and then have the time of your
life. If we don't live up to our part of the bargain, we'll do what
it takes to reach an acceptable solution. We value our relationship
with you, our guest, and want it to be mutually rewarding and long-term.
