Tips
for Bringing the Kids
• Start out early when everyone is fresh and rested
• Don’t do too much. Children’s attention spans
are short so it is best not to try to see every attraction available.
See a little, return later and leave when you sense your children
are getting tired.
• Stay within a routine, if possible. Eat at the normal times
and allow for nap time if that is still in your child’s routine.
• Pack some simple medical aides, Tylenol, Band-aids, thermometer
for little mishaps.
• Many airlines have children’s meals available when they
do serve food. Order ahead of time.
• When renting a car request a car seat
• Take plenty of books, snacks and small activities for plane
rides, car rides and restaurants.
• Rent a stroller at large attractions that require a lot of
walking. Even bigger children will appreciate the rest.
• Take lots of pictures. Children are generally in motion and
don’t often take the best pictures on the first try.
• Remember – HAVE FUN, because even the bad moments become
funny with time. |
